First entries for the Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards due this Friday

The first entry deadline for the Mumbrella Travel Marketing Awards is tomorrow, Friday 19 May.

The awards recognise the tourism industry’s best performers across PR, media, sales and marketing. This year, there are 14 categories, including Travel Brand of the Year, Best Celebrity of Influencer Campaign and Best Use of Content.

This year will feature three new categories – Creative Agency of the Year – Travel, Media Agency of the Year – Travel, and the Award for Promoting Sustainability.

The Award for Promoting Sustainability aims to recognise well thought out efforts to encourage and promote sustainability within the travel industry, from eco-tourism to waste reduction and everything in between.

The awards will take place at a gala dinner following the Mumbrella Travel Marketing Summit at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth on 17 August.

Last year, Tourism Tasmania took home the award for Travel Marketing Team of the Year, while July won Travel Brand of the Year.
