Analysis of patenting activity by companies shows that RTX filed the most 3D printing patents within the aerospace, defence & security industry in Q1 2024. The company filed 50 3D printing-related patents in the quarter, compared with 48 in the previous quarter. It was followed by Boeing with 18 3D printing patent filings, Airbus (10 filings), and Safran (9 filings) in Q1 2024.
