Responsible Media and the Race to Net Zero

As it stands today, humanity uses the equivalent of 1.7 planets’ resources per year just to sustain global demand. This is like going over on a production or media budget: we are no longer working to our means.

Each year, the moment our demand exceeds supply is known as Overshoot Day. This is the day when humanity’s demand for ecological resources and services exceeds what Earth can regenerate in that year – in other words, the date we start living in debt.
