Jerker Fagerström departs Thinkerbell after eight months

Thinkerbell’s managing partner in its Sydney office, Jerker Fagerström, has departed the agency after eight months in the role.

In a LinkedIn post, Fagerström said the managing partner, a newly-created role for Thinkerbell, “simply did not work out” for him.

“All good things must come to an end. Well this one barely got started,” he wrote.

“Thankful I got to know some awesome people, amazing clients and great partners. Onwards and upwards.”

He did not provide additional comments when contacted by Mumbrella.

Thinkerbell CEO Margie Reid said: “Jerker is a great guy and we thank him for his time with Thinkerbell and wish him all the best.”

Fagerström was Publicis Groupe’s Nordic chief creative officer before returning to Australia in January for the Thinkerbell position.

He previously spent five years in Sydney, starting 2014 when he joined as the executive creative director and partner at DT, now known as AKQA.

In 2016, he moved across to McCann Sydney, holding the role of executive creative director up until his return to Sweden in late 2019.
